To help reduce that nasty plastic film that most single-use trash and recycling can liners are made from (and did you know that almost no plastic film can be recycled!) we have partnered with our sister organization Bagito to provide a handful of K-12 schools and a university to provide samples of a PEVA reusable liner.
Under a trial program the selected schools will test out the reusable liners, getting feedback from custodians, students, teachers and other staff. We will also be in touch with the school's waste hauling services get their comments and for a calculation on how much single-use film will be reduced.
