Power2Sustain Goes to Africa

The Power2Sustain project has partnered with the U.S. Embassy and the Ministry of the Environment in Nouakchott, Mauritania, to offer lessons and activities on environmental stewardship and sustainability to 700 school children in the capital city. Mauritania is the first country in Africa to pass a country-wide ban on plastic bags and has taken the lead on educating it's children and citizens on ways that they can be better stewards of their environment.
